James D. "Jim" Holsomback

I miss him greatly. I think of him almost daily. His advice and knowledge have helped me many times in my life and will till I pass on.

I have thought of him and your family often as childhood friends with Cindy, Susan and Diana. Mrs. Holsomback was a mother to me. I am so sorry for your loss and I know how you must feel having lost both of my parents years ago. Mr. Holsomback was a strong but gentle man that gave to everyone. I loved his smile. Jim was a good friend, a true and honest man who always let me know what was on his mind. His talents were many, his stories were great, his friendship was steadfast. He is missed greatly.

My Uncle James was one of the strongest men I've had in my life. He was a "mans man". Never be weak never be afraid, look it in the eye and deal with it was the way he lived his life. As a young girl I learned by watching him, the difference between leaders and a followers and what it meant to stand for something. Jim had a great positive impact on my life. I will never forget him.
