Joanna & Family,
What great man Jim was, although I have only known you guys for a few years now. I was in "awe" of his knowledge on just about everything, his passion for caring for those around him,he did it in a quiet way,not drawing attention to himself. His "wit",his "telling it like it is" approach, his silence, will forever bring a huge smile to me. he will be missed by many, but live on in the hearts and minds of all of us who were "blessed" to have been in his presence, wheather it was a moment of silence or his witty, sarcasim or the directions of how to take care of Carolyn's lawn mover, remove the blade, sharpen it every fall, add "stabil" to the engine and choke the snow blower like this and that, we all will have our work cut out for us if we are to follow in his foot steps. And best of all, on Saturday,September 12th,2009...Jim smiled and laughed with me on Carolyn's outdoor living room...What a treat it was to see him smile! Joanna, I'm there for you!

Joanna and family,

We are so very sorry for your loss. Jim was a good friend to all of us and his passing is a terrible heartbreak for all of us who knew him. You and your family have our deepest sympathy.

Jim was an inspiration to our family. We admired all those wonderful qualities that made him the special person that he was. He had intelligence, wit, charm and a caring heart that made him a great friend.

We will always be thankful that we had the opportunity to get to know him better and to call him our friend. We will cherish his memory always.

In Friendship & Sorrow,
