James Craig Inabnet, a loving husband to his wife Marianne, passed away on December 7, 2018. Craig was born December 15, 1948 in West Monroe, Louisiana to Dawn and James Inabnet. Craig completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Organizational Behavior as well as his Master of Arts degree in Management from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. He was a Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources Management Association and the Society of Human Resources Management. Over his career, Craig served as the Human Resources Manager for Foster Wheeler USA and Turner, Collie & Braden, Inc. in Houston as well as Fluor Daniel in Sugar Land. In October of 2000, he became the Human Resources Director for the City of Sugar Land, Texas. He had expertise in strategic planning, benefits administration, and organizational development, training, and employee relations. In the last fifteen years, Craig was the owner and CEO of Strategic Employer Services and Employer HR Synergies, a professional employer organization. He is survived by his business partner, Mr. Kerry Dover. Craig had many interests including being a Master Scuba Diver, playing golf, racing his Porsches, pilot lessons, and fishing. He was also a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason. Craig had a keen interest in American history and took many trips around North America and Europe with his wife Marianne. Craig was a very generous, decent and honorable Christian man who has many charities. Craig is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Marianne Inabnet; sisters Jill Inabnet and Johnnie Wagner and her children Elisabeth and her husband Aaron, Christine, Katherine and Sara; his nephew Michael J Smith and his wife Mallory; his sister-in-laws Carole McKenna and Ellen Burris and her husband James Randall Burris; and father–in-law Joseph V. McKenna. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at The Settegast-Kopf Co. @ Sugar Creek located at 15015 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land, Texas 77478. Craig will be interred at a later date in a family plot at Zerkle's Garden of Memories Cemetery in Kerrville, Texas.
