He was my lawyer who represents me at the court when I had divorce from my ex..... RIP...2008...

James was a wonderful lawyer I am sure is missed tremendously... as well as a husband who loved his wife with all his heart.

My heart goes out to Joye and Jim's family. Friends for more than 15 years, Jim's sincerity and care for others was a window into his kind soul. I will miss him ... one of my most unforgettable characters. RIP my friend.

Jim was Truly a friend to everyone that would allow. He was my friend I'm so very proud to say. I Enjoyed many trips, conversations and times with Jim. A man of great knowledge and wisdom.

I know a million times you were needed a million times we all cried if love could have saved you you never would have died ...God saw you getting tired when a cure was not to be he wrapped his arms around you and whispered come to me ...for all he seen he seen you needed rest... GOD'S garden must be beautiful for he only picks the best...rest in peace now MY FRIEND.

I am so sorry. Jim and my husband( the late Harris Marshall) were great friends. They even crashed a small plane on the way to Bennettsville with some other guys that lived in the same house. I have so many fond memories and lots of smiles when I think of Jimmy. Blessings to his family. He was a great friend.

I played many rounds of golf rounds with Jim during 1990-2004 era. He was a funny person to be around on golf links. He keep everybody laughing and was quite a striker of the ball. As I reminisce, I am smiling at the fun times we shared over several years in our foursomes. He will be missed
