Dear Trish and family, Your dear Dr. Jackson treated my husband, Gary, for a few years. He was a fine and compassionate doctor and was able to help Gary with his many problems. However, I lost Gary to cancer in 2002. He loved Dr. Jackson and I shall never forget his healing hands. He was a splendid doctor. My deepest sympathy goes out to you and to all the family members. May God grant you strength, courage and comfort in this sorrowful time. You are in my prayers.

Trish-I remember Randy striding down the hall of the old Mountainside Medical Center while he made rounds-I would be waiting for him to ask him something about a patient. He was a good doc-one of the best I've worked with. And a good man. His passing is such a deep loss for all of us. Please know, Trish, that Randy, you, and your girls are in my thoughts and prayers.

Trish, I can't put in to words the sadness I feel I loved Dr. Jackson. He was the first Doctor I worked for and he taught me so much. I can still hear him say "Patty jane (which wasn't my middle name and he knew it) make a store run and get us something good to eat." He knew I would take care of him. He was good to me. I saw him save many lives. He also showed caring feeling for his patients. I will never forget him he will always be in my heart. My prayers are with you Trish, and the girls. He is with the greatest physician of all. You have my deepest sympathy

Dear Mrs.Jackson,
I have just received a call notifying me of Dr. Jackson's homegoing. I am still stunned at the news. I am still in the ministry
today because of James Jackson. While in Jasper in Jan.,1997 I was diagnosed w/'legionaires disease'. I almost died & I credit Dr.Jackson with saving my life.He became very special to me. He shared his testimony of salvation with me & it meant a lot to this preacher.
Shirley & I will be praying for you & those precious girls. Claim Rom.8:28 & know that even in your most heartbreaking loss God is with you and there are no accidents in God's dealings. We just don't understand & I sure don't. May the Lord Jesus give you His comfort and peace.

Dr. Jackson will be greatly missed. In our book, Dr. Jackson, Trish, Meredith, and Abigail are part of our extended family. There were and are truly a blessing to us. We have enjoyed having them in our lives. Dr. Jackson and Dr. Patel along with the good LORDs help did CPR on March 5, 2003 at Mountainside Medical Center in Jasper and saved my life. My father, Doyle Parker, loved Dr. Jackson. He was my daddy's favorite doctor. My mother, Patsy Parker and I loved Dr. Jackson also. He knowed how to take care of my medical needs as a transplant patient and document all of my care for my liver transplant physicians, doctors, and surgeons and communicate with them. They told me that he was one of the best doctors that they have ever worked with on a transplant patients care.
We will truly miss Dr. Jackson. I was looking forward to him getting his medical license back and coming back to practice in Jasper or the surrounding areas. I would have had my medical records transferred from his old practice and had them placed with his new practice for him to continue my care. One consolation even though this is a time of sorrow. Dr. Jackson is with my father in heaven and my father, Doyle Parker is in the best of care. May GOD Bless You All Always!!! If you need us do not hesitate to call us at (706) 692-2318. My Grandmother, Jamie, My Mother, Patsy, and I love all of you and we want to keep up with you, because you are family to us.
Sincerely,
Rev. David H. Parker

Dr. Jackson became our family physician after we moved here in 1998. We were so fortunate to find such a compasionate person for our doctor. We know he touched the lives of many people just by reading some of the entries here. He was such a young man and was able to accomplish so much in the short time he was here. You and your daughters I am sure will greatly miss him, but I am sure that you also are very proud of him as well. There is no doubt how much he loved his family and that will show for years to come through you and your daughters. May God continue to bless and comfort you.

Trish, Meredith, and Abigail-
Though the miles separate us, God's outstretching arms bind us! I love you all. I can't articulate the pain I feel for your loss but as I sit before God, I pray that His love is abundantly poured into your lives. May God's peace bring comfort and understanding. There is never a place in which Jesus is not present. Admist the fleeting moments of this life is the timeless promise of His presence. It's my heartfelt prayer that you all are surrounded by absolute serenity! Again, know that I love you all. "The Lord himself will go before you. He will be with you; He will not leave you or forget you." Deut. 31:8

Dear Trish,
I am so grieved to hear of your loss. There are no words to say to you that would even come close to what I feel in my heart. I worked with Dr. Jackson (Randy) and thought he was so special. I had the blessing of meeting his lovely mother and then understood why he was such a down-to-earth good guy. He cared for my dear mother until her death. He always showed such compassion toward her and allowed her to die with dignity and without pain. He often talked of you and the girls with such love in his voice. I know that he believed in our Savior by conversations that we had and therefore, we will all be together with the Lord. May God hold you tightly in His arms.
Love and prayers,

My husband and I moved to Jasper in 1998 and Dr.Jackson became our medical Physican at that time. He was one of the most sensitive and caring Dr.'s I have ever known. He not only was an expert in his field he always had time to talk to you and encourage you. I lost my husband in 99 and suffered Cancer surgery and radiation the next year. He was always there to show you he cared about you. I pray God's comfort upon his family and all of those who knew him. He was greatly loved by all who knew him.

Dr. Jackson was more than our family doctor....he was our friend. In a time when it seems that doctors have so many patients and so little time....Dr. Jackson always spent more than a quick minute with his patients. Even though his schedule was behind, he took time to talk and to listen carefully to what his patients had to say about their health. His genuine love and compassion for people in his care is something that we will carry with us for the rest of our lives. It saddens me that Dr. Jackson is no longer with us. It is with much heartfelt sympathy and prayer that I wish peace and closure for his family and friends.
