I met Jim 20 years ago at The Beverage Rack Redemption in Brunswick. It was so easy to be his friend. He loved to laugh and smiled very easily. He always put others first. Jim and I hiked a many times together. Miss his kindness.

As an adult I realize how few teenage boys would have been patient and kind enough to give a little sister 5 years their junior much attention. I was lucky enough to have Jim for my older brother, though. One of my favorite memories of our childhood together was when he would let me play games with him on his SEGA Genesis. I have a really strong memory of playing a fighting game together, which I think was Streets of Rage II. There was a particular scene in the rain where it would get to a really intense part and he would have me stand in a corner where I was safe while he would fight off all the enemies so we could continue together. Even though he would have done better and gotten further on his own, and I was mostly a burden, he still included me and protected me. Thanks, Jim, for being a protective, inclusive, and loving big brother. I'm going to miss the mischievous grin you inherited from Dad. May you enjoy being together again until we can join you.

Jim was my closest friend for several years, it's been a decade since we last spoke, I wanted to reconnect several times, but never did. So many fun memories. Too young !

Truly sorry to hear of his passing. Jim and Igo way back. I remember a time he and I traveled to Lost Valley and snowboarded. He was intrigued that I was able to do a trick on the board. Little did he know I was actually trying to stay up.
