My husband and I had the good fortune of knowing Jim and visiting with him when he´d come to California for Woodies on the Wharf in Santa Cruz. His signature radio announcer voice always a " tell" as to who was calling, and he and my husband enjoyed their car restoration stories and dreams. Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with his wife and daughter as they miss him. We´d lost touch and only recently heard of his passing. Rest in Peace Jim. Chris and Christina Lindquist

Hey Jim, you old rascal. How I miss the conversations and the dreams of starting a radio station with Mr Golden Voice. Of all the Hondas I bought from you the 1982 Accord I came out to the house to buy IS STILL ON THE ROAD! Almost 500,000 miles. Rest in peace. You don't have to make that big nut to keep the doors open anymore.

We have been good friends with Jim for approximately 48 years. During those years we have so many awesome memories. One stands out when we went to Canada for Kelly's christening. First, we went to stay at Jannie's parents house. Jim and Jannie bought huge lobsters; and we went to the beach with Jannie's parents. Her Dad had a large cauldron and we filled it with sea water. He cooked the lobsters; and we ate them on the beach. It was a wonderful time; and will be one of our finest memories. Jimmy will always be in our heart and minds; and will never be forgotten. Love to all of you.

Nancy! I remember I had a headache that night, and the next day came down for more fondue. It was amazing and we had a great time. Here is a pic of Jim and Kelly with the fondue! Hope it uploads... May even have uploaded it twice. We'll see. Jim loved y'all a LOT!! Glad we're friends. xoxooxoxox

Larger than life Jim! We will miss him and so happy to have become his friend.
One of my fondest memories is having beef fondue late at night at our house - very impromptu. Janie you we´re already in bed and he he came down to join Keith and I. He swooned over the beef tenderloin fondue.
