I met Jim in 1968 at Texas A&M. We became very close friends and graduated together in 1970. My best memory was the night we climbed up to the dome on the Administration Building and placed a poster of Raquel Welsh. It made the Aggie Battalion I believe. We had great times together threw the years, and he was a groomsman in my wedding. My sincere condolences to the family. God Bless. Cal Jones.

I spent a lot of time pestering Mr. Jeter with what if questions as a kid, he would smile, give me the answer, or smile and say "Robert, I don´t know. Thanks for letting me tag-along with you and your family! Truly saddened, but I know you are in a better place! RIP Mr. Jeter!

Jim was a dear friend of mine when I worked at The Aggie Club in the late 1970´s. We watched many Aggie football practices and Aggie band practices together. He was always there to help others and his upbeat personality was contagious! My deepest sympathy goes to his family and good friends!

Jim always had an encouraging word for others and always thought the best of others. In the last several years, Jim could be heard singing praises to his heavenly father and praying out loud most of the time. He was the best brother in-law and will be missed always. Love you, brother, until we meet again.

Jim always had an encouraging word to others and always thought the best of others. In his last several years, he could be heard wherever he was singing praise songs and praying out loud to his heavenly Father. He was the best brother-in-law and will be missed always. Love you, brother and until we meet again.

I was on the search committee of the St. D. Foundation that recommended Jim as Executive Director. I have worked with a number of development professionals over several decades. Jim was far and away the most energetic, enthusiastic, creative and knowledgeable fund raising professional i have had the pleasure to know. His contributions were in both the area of solicitation of donations and the area of organizational operations, bylaws and policies. The St. D. Foundation is where it is today because of the effective leadership of Jim Jeter.
