I was one of the many University of Arizona MIS students that Dr. LaSalle impacted. He was not only a brilliant professor whom taught with enthusiasm and positive influence but also a kind and personable man. He made you feel significant and cared about. It was an honor to have known him. His legacy will forever be felt by the UofA MIS department!

I absolutely loved Dr. LaSalle. He was without question the most influential professor I ever had. His enthusiasm was so infectious that I caught it and finished up my studies at UA with a renewed vigor. Fortunately I ran into him a few times at functions and around town in Tucson. My sincere condolences to Jim´s family - he will be forever missed.
