Knew Jim well in High School. Just a great guy. Too young. RIP JP.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the entire Pauli family. I was Jim´s basketball teammate at Los Altos HS from our Freshman year through Junior year before moving to Aptos. Jim was my favorite teammate with his great positive attitude , smile. and support. We have many great memories together from out three years on Knights basketball. Jim. was the most pure basketball player on our team .
I wish I had stayed in closer contact with Jim after moving away from Los Altos .I have nothing but positive memories of Jim, such a great guy to be with . Couldn´t have been a nicer person at Los Altos HS.
Wish i could have been a La Riconada today , sure there were great stories about Jim
RIP Jim. ,we will all miss you! You were a tremedous person, one of the best!

I wanted to share my condolences to the entire family and Jim´s close friends and people he touched in life. I went to grammar and high school with Jim. He was on the varsity boys basketball team and I was on the varsity girls basketball team. After practice one day, I´d sprained my ankle and was trying to hobble on one foot up the uphill corridor. Jim and Doug Letts saw me weeping and struggling and the next thing I knew, Jim picked me up and carried me to someone´s convertible car and they drove me the one block to my house. That´s Jim´s heart I knew from grammar school. He was a year ahead of me but I never forgot about his kindness and especially going out of his way to help me get home when I was injured. Bless you, Jim. I´m sorry about your untimely passing but know without a shadow of a doubt that you are watching over your family and friends. May God hold your family in His arms as they experience this sad and new journey without your physical presence. Love never ends.

Jim was a remarkable man and we feel blessed to have been a part of his many adventures with Wendy.
