James Michael Kenyon

James Michael Kenyon 74, peacefully passed away in his home surrounded by his family on July 12, 2025. His family and friends better knew him as Mike, Uncle Mike, Mikey, or Peewee. Mike was a proud father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He leaves behind his children Kimberly Sanchas (Troy), Crystal Duquette (Chris) and Brandon Kenyon. His grandchildren, Joshua (Kendra), Matthew, Rachel, Hunter, Madison and Justice, two great grandchildren Jayden and Ryan. His sisters Delila Leduc, Gail Ortiz and Brinda Cartier and brother Jimmy Mills. Mike also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mike was a very proud Vietnam Veteran who received two Bronze Star Medals. He served his country and remained dedicated to the local organizations throughout his life. Mike was a kind soul who would help out wherever he was needed. He had an infectious laugh and loved to tease and joke with everyone. Mike loved to ride his Harley and hang out with his fellow club members.

The family would love to send appreciation to all who helped care for him during his illness. We would like to send special thanks to Sue from Home Instead and all the Hospice nurses who took wonderful care of Mike.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to any Veterans Associations.

Services will be held at North Woodstock Cemetery

Woostock, CT August 1st at 10am.
