Dear Lois, We just learned of Jim's death. Our thought and prayers are with you and your family. We remember all your thoughtfulness and help when we lost our Greg 22 years ago. Not a day goes by that we don't think of him and I'm sure that will be true for you too. We remember the fun times and we are thankful for the grandchildren that he and Alison provided for us. my deepest condolences to all of the Laffeys. I have so many good memories of playing down at the Laffeys as a young kid, often with my siblings, and of making (a reluctant!) Jim play house with me. In our many classes together through high school, I always thought of him as a good guy--with a great sense of humor (like his parents) who made many laugh easily. Now Jim and his family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I grew up with Jimmy and am so sad to hear of his passing. I lived across the street from the Laffeys and have many great memories of hanging out with the family. I remember their dad blowing a cow horn so all six kids would know it was time to come home for dinner. I was blessed to be part of the family and my condolences and heart goes out to all of you, especially my good friend Sue.
