To my daughter Kelsey Landrie and her Dad-Pat
I would like to let you both know how much your grandpa and dad will be missed. He was a wonderful man who never missed a chance to crack a joke or give you that litte somehting extra when you needed it most. He was a very strong man who always had an exceptional great outlook on life. Smart as a whip but never let you feel like you were anything less than him. I remember the first time he held Kelsey and the sparkle in his eye. They had quite a thirst for knowledge and loved reading books together, especially Clifford the Big Red Dog. He will truly live in your hearts forever. May he dance with Mom (Vera) forever in heaven. Love to Kelsey and happy and fond memories to you Pat of the times you and your dad shared.

I would like to write a tribute to a man I knew as my second father. In the true sense of adoration for a father (albeit, step) I want to say that Jim was truly a giving man. He gave of knowledge (especially, baseball, gardening, lawn care, and furniture fixing) and of self (in helping with said knowledge). He delivered meals on wheels, fixed bicycles, and squeeky chairs. He was a grandfather figure to my boys for many, many years and I truly appreciate his contribution in making them the men they are today. Jim, you touched many lives, more than you will ever know and will be sincerly missed.

Although being able to see my grandfather was difficult, due to us living so far apart from on antoher I still feel devastated by his death. I think of all the momories that I have with him, and it makes me sad that he will be unable to attend my graduation in may of this year, my thoughts will always be with him, and I know he will not be at my graduation physically but spritualy. I will always love you and miss you grandpa. I know that you are in a better place not suffering, with my grandma Vera Landrie please give grandma a big hug and kiss for me. I love you very much.. your grandaughter Kelsey Landrie.
