- - James F. Lang, beloved husband of 60 years to Mary Lou Lang (nee Barloh); devoted father of Catherine Lang and Dr. James E. (Jackie) Lang; loving grandfather of Rachel (Aaron Rosenberg) Lang, Victoria (Stephen) Baker, Rebecca Lang, Stephanie Lang, and Michael Lang. Passed away at age 87 on August 20, 2018. Visitation will be at Geo. H. Rohde & Son Funeral Home, 3183 Linwood Ave., Mt. Lookout on Friday, August 24, 2018 from 6-8 PM. Complimentary valet parking provided. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Rose Catholic Church, 2501 Riverside Dr., Cincinnati, OH 45202 on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 9:30 AM. Memorial donations may be sent to Hospice of Cincinnati, P.O. Box 633597, Cincinnati, OH 45263-3597 or St. Rose Church. Condolences to rohdefuneral.com.

i just saw Cathy's post on Facebook with the link to this site. I stood there in shock 1st... then the tears..... Aunt Lou, Jim and Cathy... I am so sorry for your loss. I loved Uncle Jim and it is hard to picture a world without all the Langs in it. What a wonderful and funny and intelligent man he was! I pray that memories of him will light the way for you all as you go through this time in your lives! Your family represents strength and smiles and laughter to me. May these things also guide you through your grief. Love you! You all will be in my thoughts and prayers!

Dear Dr. Lang, although I did not know your father I know he was a wonderful man because of you and the caring dedication you show to all your patients. Not only are you a wonderful doctor in the way you care for me but also in the way you cared for my mother and my uncle.
