James was always friendly to me on my visits to the Lanza family in PT, a good cook and fun sense of humour. Peace and blessings to him and his family.

The James Lanza Family-
Mario was one of the best! His smile and sense of humor always brought a bright light to all of our Rodent get togethers! I know he will be missed by many!

James was a great colleague, friend, fellow gourmand, and lover of sports. We shared many good meals, experiences, and laughs over the years. He passed all too soon. There is a quote by Gustave Flaubert: "A friend who dies, it's something of you who dies."

I met James a few times and didn't know him as well as his sisters -Lisa, Lori and Julie but he was always friendly and welcoming to me on my visits and stays in Port Townsend, and I am sad to hear of his passing. My thoughts are with his siblings and children today.

I was shocked when my sister-in-law (Linda) told me about James' leaving. To me, Louis and Robert, cousin James was “Jamey”. I had lost contact with Jamey; I didn't know he was in Phoenix. I always consulted with Jamey and his Dad (My Uncle Joe) on numerous occasions because they knew both Business and Law. Jamey loved his whole family with a passion and enjoyed relating to me of the many interesting situations encountered by his sisters and brothers in their life's business endeavors. He would describe and remark how they all worked so hard and conducted themselves with so much class. So proud he was of them and Mario and Dominic. I shall miss being able to call Jamey at any time for what I knew would be accurate and candid advice. I'll probably run into Jamey and his gracious Legal Secretary-wife Gloria, his Mom (my wonderful-super-gracious Aunt Gloria) and great Uncle Joe, etc., in the future. RIP Jamey.

My condolences to Jim's family. Jim was one of the first attorneys I met when my family and I moved to Bellevue in 1986. Jim referred a few criminal cases to me when I was just getting started here and really needed work. I can remember Jim from St. Louise, from football games at Interlake and from hallway bumping into one another at the King County Courthouse. Jim and Gloria were good friends to my sons, Craig and Mark, and me. I will miss him.
