Marjorie Leito Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 22, 2018.
Marjorie L. Leito MANSFIELD -- Marjorie L. Leito, 88, left this life on Tuesday, March 20, 2018. FUNERAL: 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Marjorie was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved the Lord and served him faithfully for all of her life. She married the love of her life, Leonard Leito, on Sept. 20, 1945. She was beside him for 64 years through his business adventures of Builder's Equipment & Supply, Jess Brooks, Inc., Tex/Star Industries and Leito's Supply. After retirement they loved to travel all over the world. Her final journey was the challenge of Alzheimer's. She never complained and handled each stage with dignity and love. She loved each and every caregiver at her home. Each one has touched our lives by their love, compassion and devotion. They have truly been God's angels for her. Her greatest strength came from her love for her Lord and Savior which she never forgot while battling the disease. She continued to thank God for her life each and every day until her journey on earth was over. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard; her parents; one brother; two sons; one nephew; one great-grandchild; and one son-in-law. SURVIVORS: Daughters, Beverly Dugan and Terri Rhodes and husband Steve; son, Cary Leito; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

We are so sorry about Margie's death. Margie was a beloved memeber of our group's lunches at Pam's Too in Acton. We enjoyed hearing her life stories and laughing with her. She was a great lady, and we will miss her very much. Thanks Margie for being our friend.
