James Augustus Leithead

I am sad to hear the passing of my good friend. James Leithead remains in my memory: an unpretentious good man who brought light into the room. My sincere condolences to his family.

Mr. Leithead was our family's lawyer for many, many years. When I was a young person, I was given complete Power of Attorney for my uncle who had had a devestating stroke. I had no idea what responsibities I had taken on, but Mr. Leithead helped me for three years without charging me or my uncle one penny. He was always available to quide and advise me with any legal matters when dealing with my uncle's estate, finances, and health. I have always been truly grateful for this wonderful Christian man. He will be truly missed.

I worked as a legal secretary in Mr. Leithead's office back in the seventies. He was such a warm and kind hearted person. I enjoyed conversations with him about his Collie, Duncan! I am so sorry for his loss.
