I miss you. You were very special to me. You were caring, friendly, and happy. I liked being around you. I like how you treat all the students with respect. You are my role model because you inspire me to be a better person. I care about you because you were a veteran. You were so wonderful to me because he spent time talking to me and having conversations. A good memory I remember with you is when I celebrated your retirement surprise party at the end of the school year. I enjoyed talking with you.

I am so sorry to hear of Jimmy's passing. I served with both Jimmy and Dickie in Co, B, of the 101st Sig, Bn. They were both a great credit to the unit and I have many fond memories of them both. Rest in Peace!

Sorry to hear of Jim's passing - but to a better place. He was a nice person and classmate in OHS and I also knew him as a next door neighbor to my cousin when he lived in Ossining. Glad to read he passed peacefully. He was less than a month older than me. Jim Fagan

"Jim Hansen what do ya say, what do ya say" or "good, good good" or "good show, good show" are the things I would commonly hear when my friend Jim would call me. Jim would always "check in" as he would say and give me a call. I will miss the times and laughs we had. Conversations at hunting camp where we solved the worlds problems. "Shoot straight at them"he would tell me. If we didn't see any deer they were "laughing at us" Thanks for all you did Jim and the positive impact you had on so many.
Family friend and hunting buddy,

I was very sad to hear about Jim's passing. He was a wonderful man who became a dear friend of my husband, Mark and son , Jim. For over thirty years, he was very much a part of our lives and was always there for all of us. I will miss your Xmas cards with funny notes. May you meet Mark in heaven to joke about those old hunting days!

Jim was an extraordinary man who touched the lives of so many in the Ossining school district. Along with being the perfect gentleman; Jim was genuinely joyful, kind, dignified, wise, and very, very funny. Through his wisdom he taught invaluable life lessons not only to students but to colleagues as well. It was an honor and privilege to work with him.
