James Leroy Linebaugh

James Leroy "Jim" Linebaugh, 90, of Waynesville, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 in his home.

He was born November 14, 1927 in Ellerton, Ohio, the son of Jesse and Carrie (Philabaum) Linebaugh.

Jim served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed mushroom hunting, hunting, using his metal detector and going dancing.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Lillian (Warble) Linebaugh; children, Kim (Lloyd) Turner, Randy Linebaugh, Tom (Lexie) Linebaugh, and Jeremy Linebaugh; grandchildren, Geoff (Courtney) Turner and Brad Turner; step-children, Bonnie (Kam) Pinet, Linda (Ray) Holmes, and Dale Brown; step-grandchildren, Anna, Katie, Maggie, and Dylan Holmes, and Aadyn Brown; siblings, Iva Lindsey and Harry Linebaugh; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Rita Linebaugh; granddaughter, Rachel Turner; as well as numerous brothers and sisters.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE Funeral Home, Miamisburg with Dignity Celebrant Deb Holder officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Heritage Hills Memory Gardens, Springboro.
