Joanne and family, I just wanted to let you know again how sorry we all are at Jimmy's passing. He was a wonderful, kind soul and I never saw him without a smile on his face. My father loved him very much and there are not very many people who can have a 57 year friendship like they did. We are all thinking about you and send our deepest condolences. I don't think things will ever be the same.

I will always remember the days when my parents would get together with good friends, like Jim and his wife, Joanne. Fun times. In later years my husband, George and I would see him at Mama Lena's. He was my Godfather. Our condolences to the family.

I remember coming in into Mama Lena's restaurant weekend mornings and seeing Jim there. He would be cleaning the place up, getting it ready for the day's business. He was always friendly.

Jim & I worked together in the Day Center and on the hill! He was my friend for over 40 years. It was always a delight to see his smile when he was getting his donuts for the card game. He always remembered his friends!

Fond memories of Jim. He introduced me to the Binghamton Psychiatric Center and made me feel welcome and taught me many things in several years we worked together. A very special guy. I am out of town and cannot attend services... my prayers are with you.

Mrs Madison, Pat, Tim, Colleen, Joey, and families,
So sorry for your loss. Such a quiet kind man. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Madison Family,
I am so saddened to hear about Mr. Madison. I will always remember how funny he was and always had a big smile. One of my favorite memories is riding in the car with him and Colleen and he made crazy car noises the whole time! Colleen was horrified but I thought he was hilarious! You are all in my thoughts in this most difficult time. Michele O'Toole and Family
