James David Mayfield

When we were young, David and I spent many times together from playing sockball and slow motion football to traveling across the country. He was a wonderful friend and I have so many wonderful memories.

Dave was a very close friend especially in our early 20's as we had many great adventures. We traveled across the country together, worked at many jobs together, and spent many nights cruising Highway 80 in his green Nova and hanging out in the DQ parking lot.
Dave was a unique individual - funny, exciting and nice to everyone.
My thoughts and deepest sympathy to his family. I will miss Dave but will always have great memories of our special friendship

So sorry to hear about David. Have known him and his family all of my life. He and I were best friends in high school and drove back and forth to Kilgore College with Robert Lightfoot after graduation. Sending prayers to the whole family. Especially for Mrs. Mayfield who has lost 2 children. We certainly understand since we lost a child also.

So sorry for your loss. Our family is praying for yours. May you find peace and comfort in these difficult days.
