James was a grade school friend to my husband I didn't meet James until about 34 yes ago he named a son of ours Christopher Jaymes Ruth I can tell you one thing he was always fun to be around that is the one and the only guy I would trust with my husband with he would give this shirt off of his back to help anybody he could I can tell you this he loved his wife and his son dearly James this is not a good bye its till we see you later

James was a great guy and a true friend. He always had the best advice. Please know that I am praying for all of you. Rest in peace and love, my friend. You will be terribly missed!

He taught my husband so much. So many of my husbands memories involve Uncle James. He loved my babies. Such a kind hearted man beneath that tough exterior. We certainly weren't ready for you to go but God needed you more. We love you Uncle James Rest in love

I barely remember when I first met you. I was only 8 or 9. I can't remember if I had a big crush on you or if I was just jealous because you were taking my sister away. I remember pinching you on your skinny butt and you calling me a brat! I sure was. But you loved me anyway. A little later in life you saved MY life! As I was drowning at Blue Mountain Lake. You were my hero. All these years you've been my sister's hero, best friend and love and I will miss you so. Thank you for always taking care of her and Jamie too. Phillip and I will always love you and carry you in our thoughts and prayers. It's because of you and Debbie that I found him!! Thank you for all the great times and memories. I will miss you dearly. See you soon brother!

James was the kind of guy that would help anyone,I always looked up to him and I'm saddened that he's gone. I will always remember sing him on the side of the road talking to a friend I stopped and asked him if he was alright he said you better worry about you being alright driving that ford we laughed james Debbie and family I am praying and I'm here if you need anything

He will be missed by many! Taught me alot about drag racing, cars, hunting, & about life in general! Always had a smile on his face & a positive outlook on life. My heart goes out to his family & close friends! Fly high ole man!
