Our condolences to Jim's family for their and the Sergeanstville, NJ Communities loss. He was truly a man's man. Always a friendly face, he helped my wife's family through the loss of several family members at young ages and always inquired about the survivors in the family as we continued to frequent his business for hardware items over the years. We will keep Stephanie, Chelsea and Peter along with other family members in our thoughts and prayers. Sincerely Pete & Jan Emmons O'Brien, Ballston Lake, NY

So sorry to hear of Jim´s passing. When he came to take over the Sergeantsville store he was a very accommodating for me and everybody in town. And there was always a conversation about wrestling and my hog operation at the time. He became successful because of his willingness to listen and help anyway he could. But my biggest takeaway about Jim was his smile at seeing you and the friendship and honesty he gave away to neighbors and customers. Haven´t seen him in years as I moved away but when I would occasionally stop in it was as if I had never left.

I fondly remember Jimmie, a freshman and teammate, from our 1963-1964 wrestling team at Bernards. We had some great practices and our pretend matches between myself, 105 lbs., and Jimmie were hilarious. He had a most jovial personality. My sincerest condolences to all his family. Bill Reilly

It was a pleasure to have known Jim for over 50 years....outstanding athlete and good person. Little did we know that when he visited with us at our Florida home, it would be our last visit. He was the same good natured Jimmy, looking forward to retirement and Jimmy, Dennis, Ronnie and I talked about spending more time together next winter.
To Jimmy´s family......JoAnn´s and my most sincere condolences and prayers are extended to you during this most difficult time. God Bless you. Jimmy will not be forgotten. May the Perpetual Light shine upon his soul!

Not only am I thankful to call Jim, my brother-in-law, but also a friend who always looked out for me and had my best interest at heart. He touched so many as evident by the many thoughts people have expressed. I pray for my sister Stephanie and his family that they may find comfort in the wonderful legacy he so genorously left with all who were blessed to have known him.
