Mr. Jim was a great accordion player. I have fond memories of him singing and playing his accordion all around the kitchen and little dining area. "He was a caring person!" He showed much to me of what a "father" was. My dad R o n n i e Schuman passed away at 24. I was Five. I dated James Vernon McFaul the third but I was really in love with his family. And I still am to this day God bless all of you and I'm so sorry for this loss I just found out thank you Jennifer for putting it on Facebook

We spent many happy times with Jim and Millie "at the end of the pier".
We recall the day we brought our new boat into the Marina and found Jim and Mille seated behind out docking space.
The single diesel we had was not easy to maneuver into our spot. Captain Bob did a super job and was
rewarded by a happy greeting from Capt. Jim and First Mate Millie.
Many trips down the bay and at the dock were joyous.
Jim, you are missed but we know that you are at peace and rest at the side of the Lord.
Smooth sailing Captain!! God bless and keep you and our sympathies go out to your wonderful family.

Very sorry to hear about Jim's passing. He was my first supervisor when I came to the Guard in 1987. Jim was a great man, mentor and influenced me, along with the other great Maintenance Techs at the AASF, to become a Warrant Officer which all changed my career for the better. My condolences to the family and his friends. Godspeed and smooth seas Jim!

I would like to pass on our most heart felt condolences from all the members of the Gunpowder Neck Boaters Association. GNBA is where Jim spent his days enjoying his boat and his boater friends. Calm seas ahead our friend.

My condolences to the McFaul Family...may you all find comfort asking our Lord for a little help during these fragile times. I'm happy Jim spent a lot of time out on the water with his family and he probably enjoyed it more than most Captains because of his confidence and lack of fear of breaking down. Boat motors were most likely "child's play" to Jim for being an Aced Certified Aviation Mechanic whose primary job was keeping Army helicopters airborne, was no small feat.
May He Rest In Peace.
