My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
I will always remember 'Coach' McGaughey, both on the basketball court and in Texas History class. I still have the recipe for corn pone he made during class in the sixth grade. I found it recently while packing boxes to move. He will be missed!

I do not remember much of Jimmy since I am older but I do remember his Mom & Dad. Ora Mae and my Mom were good friends. My condolences to all of the McGaughey family and to the little town of Alto.

Dickey - sorry to hear of Jimmy's death. I often remember our friendship in high school and years on the football field with fellow team mates. Jimmy was always laughing about something. It made you feel good just to be around him. We will miss him. God bless you and your family.

Dear Gay and Dickie,
We are so sorry for the loss of your brother, Jimmy. I remember him as a young boy when I was in Alto High School. My husband, Paul remembers him as a very good hunting/fishing buddy & friend when we were living in Nacogdoches. May God bless your families.

I considered Jimmy my best friend and will miss stopping by and "shooting the bull" with him. He was a very intelligent and witty man. My family and I are very sadded by the loss of this friend and extend our sincere sympathy to his "real" family.
