I recently became acquainted with James and I was very impressed with his intellect and curiosity. What really stood out, though, was his humility and his humanity...personal qualities that have become harder to find. I was deeply saddened to learn of his untimely passing, and I am sure that he will be missed by many.

James was so full of life and always brought a smile to my face. We lived and worked together for a short time after WPI and had many adventures, including following Ireland in the 1994 World Cup. He was the kindest person I knew, and always joyful. Run to God and keep my seat warm, James, I'll see you again.

RIP James, you were a great friend and roommate. I'll miss all the laughs we shared down the years. I'll be praying for you and your family and will miss you greatly.

Dear Iva and Family - I was deeply saddened to learn of James' passing. He was a fine and kind gentleman who will be missed by all of those that had the good fortune to know him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult of times.

I had a chance to meet James during his time at WPI and worked with him at ABB. He was brilliant and destined to be great at what ever he did but more so he was a great person. James was one who always lifted your spirits even when he was completely down. He never asked for anything but gave so much.

Privileged to say I counted James among my friends. My thoughts go out to his family and especially his son Dylan. He will be missed more than words can express.

James was a wonderful person, intelligent and caring. He built meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues and will be missed by many.

James was a great person, a great friend and a very thoughtful and generous person.

James was such as nice guy and always willing to share his industry knowledge & expertise without expecting anything in return. RIP James.
