Dr. McNitt had a whole lot to do with my chosen career path. I remember everything he taught me and I often share his teachings with my students. I am forever grateful for the opportunities and experiences. His legacy lives on in so many people.

To the McNitt family! Dr. McNitt was one of my many Agriculture Professors, years later we met again as colleagues at SU Ag Center, and eventually we became friends. He taught me a lot about being enthusiastic about your work and enjoying the wonderful world of Agriculture. His work will live on for years through his research, articles and students. He will certainly be missed. My prayers are with his family
