My favorite memory was he was the most amazing Pastor with Marilyn on the Organ, for a very large congregation but Saturdays he mowed the lawn with his teenage boys ! I loved also his Wednesday nights and how he would have the preview prayer for Wednesday night at noon. I have never seen a pastor do that and he had the best prayer time with singing "someone is praying for you" When my daughter Nancy was born, he did her baby dedication and his Daughter who was a college student came to the house for a visit. To my favorite pastor, Thank you for being the wonderful God fearing preacher you were, Im sure that God welcomed you with open arms when you arrived in Heaven. You touched many lives, including mine. Thank you for your guidance and love.

I appreciated Brother Mellish so much and will miss him. We had him scheduled for revival this coming Spring. He now rejoices in God's glorious presence.

Pastor Mellish was a mentor from afar. I watched his ministry and tried to absorb his love for his people and the vision he had for his church. He was a hero to me. Rev Jack McCormick

Marilyn my heart is with you. I remember you and Jim from the Muskegon, MI church some 50 years ago. I was a friend of Pauline Mellish Spray for many years and have watched your ministry at Warren Woods. Blessings to you both for a long and faithful ministry. God hold you through these times very close until you meet again.

Pastor Jim was the best!!! He helped me with college tuition and always prayed for me. He did many revivals at my church and we always enjoyed having him..... We kept in such close contact....He will be truly missed here. He helped me work through the forgiveness with my father, and helped me pray for my spouse.... I love ya Pastor JIm!!!!

Pastor Mellish, the man, pastor, and Brother will always be cherished in the Trocchio family. He played a big part in leading me, Joe, to Christ over 20 years ago. He was bold, had a good heart and ran a great race.

What a kind and loving family man. He always want to remember everyone by name and when he spoke of his family members it touched your heart. With his love he has touched everyone in our family and left an imprint. I pray that you find comfort in our Lord and all that love Pastor Mellish.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Marilyn and the family. We heard Pastor speak just shortly before he was diagnosed at Warrington Church of the Nazarene near New Castle, Indiana.
