James Mendenhall Obituary
Preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Bessie Acuff Mendenhall; Son, Jim Mendenhall; 9 brothers, and 4 sisters. Survived by his wife, Alma Yardley Mendenhall; Sons, Mike Mendenhall of Knoxville, Ronald Mendenhall of Indiana, and Timothy Mendenhall of Indiana; Daughter, Patricia Joann Borden of Texas; 21 Grandchildren; 32 Great Grandchildren; and 6 Great Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 22, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Bridges Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 AM on Monday, December 23, 2024 at Greenwood Cemetery for an 11:00 AM Graveside Service with Rev. Charlie McNutt officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made VMCINC.org. Arrangements by Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike, 865-523-4999. www.bridgesfuneralhome.com
