James Meserve

I am very sorry for the loss of Jim, my sincere sympathies goes out to the family. I have Jim to thank for hiring me years ago into the art industry, an industry I am still working in. He was always fair, well respected and full of energy and ideas. After our ways parted, it was always good to see him at trade shows. I could see his smile from all the way down the hallway as I approached. Peace to you Jim!

Dearest Meserve family,
My deepest from my heart condolences for a monumental loss for all of us. My you find comfort in family and the many friends who knew him. The fond memories we who were blessed to share with him will bring some comfort in this difficult time. Jim was my best friend, and I will always cherish the many many wonderful memories of life with him. The Smiley Ave Meserve home was my second home; a home full of pranks, laughter and above all love. Jim was one of those guys who had it all, looks, brains, quick wit and marvelous sense of humor. It's been a few years since we spoke but I will still miss him dearly.

I worked with Jim for quite a few years in Manchester, Vermont. I was a good professional friend of his -- and we both shared a love of the Patriots! Jim had an infectious smile and a great sense of humor. I will miss having him in my life.

My thoughts and prayers are with Jim's family. I have worked with Jim, and have great memories of his spirit and dedication. He truly loved working with artists, and the creative field. It lit him up, and he also had the ability to do the same for others. Please let me know about the May Memorial Service, as I will plan to share more of these memories with family and friends. Jim will be remembered always.

I would like to offer my deepest sympathy for the unexpected loss of Jim. I'll remember him for his great smile, wit, and the joy he brought me when I was around him. I haven't seen him since the San Diego & Manhattan Beach Days but I remember those time with great fondness along with the Smiley Ave and UMO days. Again, my condolences to the entire Meserve family.

My brother, Marc, notified me about the loss of Jimmy, who was my Godson. I was shocked since he is so young. Yes, he always had that smile that lit up the room. I often think about the year spent with you and your boys when I was a teacher in Waterville. Please let me know when the May memorial will take place. If possible, I would like to be there to honor Jim's memory. May God give you peace and comfort you during this difficult time.

My deepest sympathy to Mrs. Meserve, John, Paul, Mark and Matt. In my youth Jim and I were very close friends. We spent many sleep overs at each other's house, well mostly at Jim's house on Smiley Ave. I thank Jim for turning me on to different music. We used to go to DeOrsey's record store in Waterville quite often to buy albums. They would always play new stuff for us. I remember one day we went in there in 1976 and they were just unpacking the 1st album from the band Boston. Jim said I heard that this was pretty good. They played it for us and I bought it. So I thank Jim for that, the first Boston album in Waterville was purchased by yours truly. Jim and I drifted apart through high school choosing different paths, but he will always hold a special place in my heart as one of my best childhood friends. I'll never forget that smile. Rest in peace my brother.

Paul, Patricia, and the entire Meserve family,

I was saddened to read of the loss of Paul's brother, James. There are no good words at such a time so I will only note that you, your family, and your brother are in my prayers.
