James Clement Meyer, 89 of Gibsonia passed peacefully on August 1, 2024 at Magnolia Place in Saxonburg. Jim was born in Millvale, PA on January 18, 1935 to Charles and Eleanor Meyer. Jim graduated from North Catholic High School

in 1953. He lived in the Northern Pittsburgh suburbs his whole life.

Preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Eileen Golya and Carol Rebera, brother, Charles Meyer, wife, Marlene Meyer, son, William Meyer and grandson William Meyer Jr. He is survived by his sister, Lorraine (John) Dechant, his brother-in-laws, William Golya and Manuel Rebera and his children, James (Suzanne) Meyer Jr., Michael (Terri) Kelley, Kimberly (Mark) Bittner, Mark (Linda) Kelley, Julie Kelley and Paul (RoseMarie) Kelley numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jim enjoyed the simple things in life; good food, church activities, lots of desserts with walnuts, picnics, horse-shoes, hunting, and training & running his beagles. Jim was a long time member of the Central Beagle Club and took pride in staying active.

Jim and Marlene enjoyed many years of being "Snow Birds", spending half the year in Tampa Florida once he retired from the Port Authority as a bus driver.

Friends and Family are invited to a mass in his memory to be held on August 24, 2024 at 9:30AM at St Richards Church of Sts Mary and Martha Parish, 3841 Dickey Rd, Gibsonia PA.

A joint Celebration of Life honoring Jim and his sister, Carol Rebera who passed away April 27, 2024 in Florida, will be held following the service.

A special thank you to the compassionate nurses and aides at Magnolia Place who

made Jim's last year comfortable.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to North Country Meals-on-Wheels, 3281 Wexford Rd Gibsonia, PA 15044
