James Middleton

What a great Christian friend. We were blessed to have known him.

Dear Beth and Jay:

Lori and I were greatly saddened when we learned of Mr. Middleton's passing. He was a wonderful man with a gentle voice and a kind heart. It has been my pleasure to have numerous conversations with him over the years –several about our Lord and Savior. We had a great time together when he and I went to dinner at one of his favorite restaurants. We each had the other smiling and laughing all through dinner! He had a good balance of everything – including a sense of humor. He will be missed by hundreds…but rest in the assurance that he is in a better place than we are…as men now call good evil and evil good.

57:1 The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come. 57:2 He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness. (KJV)

Dear Beth and Jay,
We remember with great fondness when Jim and Jean were our backyard neighbors in Burlington. Jim and I (Cecelia) grew up across the street from each other on Brookwood Ave. in Wilmington so our paths have crossed for so many years. Jim was a special person that always remembered us with Christmas cards and called or visited whenever he was in Wilmington. He was so proud of his family and sent us pictures and updates. Our sympathy and prayers are with you all.
