James Millaway Obituary
Memorial services will be at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery,5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119.
Mr. Millaway was born on December 6, 1931, in Philadelphia, PA. Jim is the only child of ten to receive a college education. He worked full time while earning his bachelor's degree at St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, PA. He worked as an accountant until his retirement. Along the way, he moved to Memphis and is survived by two children, son, Richard Orion Millaway and daughter Frances Guidry Millaway.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Orion Millaway, brothers Jon Millaway and Orion Millaway, and sisters, Barbara Cox, Elizabeth Smith, Sara Longacre, Rosemary Hachadorian, Julie Walker, Laura LoRusso, and Marie McDevitt.
The family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
