Sincere condolences to the Morgan family.
I never met Jimmie in person, although we were e-mail buddies. I'll always remember and be grateful to him for sending me an 1805 publication that once belonged to one of my ancestors.
May you rest in peace, Jimmie.

Dear Anna and Family,
I will never forget my dear Uncle Jim. He was always so much fun to be around. I always remember all the picnics, holiday dinners at the Morgan's in Bellevue, summer vacations at the Spider Web by Lake Erie. I'll never forget when he visited me in Atlanta when I was in college and took me and my roommates out to the Atlanta Playboy Club. I'll always remember that great laugh he had.

We offer you our deepest sympathy and you will be in our prayers to help you through this sad time.

Love to all,

Chuck Williams

I'm listening to Jerry Jelinek of WKHR playing the music that Jimmy Morgan loved and right now Jerry is playing Frank Sinatra's version of "My Way" ... one of Jimmy's favorite recordings that Old Blue Eyes produced down through the years.

I've listened to many a morning show that Jimmy hosted and I have to say that his tastes in music paralleled mine. I did my listening via streaming radio over the Internet and although I never personally met Jimmy Morgan ... I invited him into my home on hundreds of occasions.

I certainly will miss the excellent way he chose the many recordings he played during the times I listened to him. He put a lot of thought into his programming.

I will miss him.

To The Morgan Sisters:

Connie, Marianne, & Millie:

My sympathies on the loss of Your Dad. I remember going into Bandstand Records in Feb. 1964. "I Want To Hold Your Hand" was a hit and the picture sleeve cardboard cut out was on the sales counter.
Little did I know that years later I would have the opportunity to get to know all of you.
Losing a Dad is tough since we only get one to call our very own.
May God grant you His Peace in this time of your loss.

Jim and I went to the same church, were in the same classroom in first and second grade and shared the same name. I have many fond memories of Jim and his family. May he rest in peace.
