Had the pleasure to work with David in Honeywell, and the honor to call him a friend.
Admired many things about David: his intellect, sense of humor, the creativity he brought to challenges, his core values to do it right and create excellence
Never met his children, but knew them from our dinner talks--he was a proud father, and we often spoke about his wonderful, successful children, and his hopes for them.
What I admired most about David was his personal compass: his unwavering commitment to follow his vision/dreams & integrity, and to speak truth to power; his enthusiasm, optimism and energy were infectious; and his spirit of adventure and concern for his staff-- for others--were inspirational. Thank you David for these, and for many good laughs.
My deepest condolences to his family. The world is a poorer place. May God bless & comfort you, and may the warmth of friends and family console you during this difficult time.

David, you have been a living example of this phrase from the
Maha Upanishads - "Vasudaiva Kutumbakam", all the world is my family. You have traveled around the world, seen as much as a man might see in his short moment on this Earth, and appreciated it all wholeheartedly. Moreover, wherever you went, you have brought kindness and joy, and light to the hearts of many.
Though you are no longer with us, those lights will grow ever so much brighter in your memory, and you will not be forgotten, simply cherished and missed. Rest in peace.

To David's mom Shirley, his children and other family, my sincere condolences on David's passing. I had the great pleasure of getting to know him during our time at Honeywell. So smart, a gentleman and just a pleasure to work with and get to know personally and professionally. Always a smile. So proud of his children. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you at this time. Peace my friend. "JC" (John Carroll)

David was a pleasure to know and work with at Honeywell. He was a constant source of positive energy for us all, even in the most stressful times. He will be missed. God bless David, and peace to your entire family during this difficult time.

David- the first time we met was at Brandon's football game when he and Braden played together. You were so excited to be there for your son. As Brandon received the pass, he headed down the field to the end zone and so did you! You ran that yardage right along side Brandon, you did your own end zone celly! It was so hard for me to tell you that there was a flag on play! and the foul was on my son, Braden. The rest of the game was spent laughing and cheering and hard to believe that we had just met. But this will not surprise anyone, because that is how you welcomed people into your life- with laughter, cheers and a warm open heart. You are a great role model for so many. You will be missed. Rest in Peace David. My heartfelt condolences to Brandon and the rest of the family. Kim Taylor
