James Nesbitt Jr.

Sorry for your great loss. I had the pleasure of knowing Jim as a friend and peer when I worked at WDAR in Darlington during the 60s and 70s. He was one of the wittiest and funniest guys I ever knew. I'm sorry we didn't stay in touch after I left the area. Our business has lost a GREAT personality and a super guy.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Mr. Nesbitt was a wonderful and dear friend to my granparents, Carl and Diane Watts. As a child, I remember that they used to think the world of him, and "Jim Nesbitt's" name would always come up. It was all positive things they had to say. I'm Tiffany, Diane and Carl's grandaughter, and I also personally knew him when I was a child as well. He always seemed like a gentle and loving man, and I'm sure that he was. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Words are not never enough to express how sorry I am for your loss.

I remember so well living in Lake City and getting up in the morning to get ready for school and Jim would be on the TV on WBTW Channel 13 and he would sing and then talk about the "Buckhorn Restaurant" in Lynchburg. I miss those days and I'm gonna miss Jim too. All of the Nesbitt family are in my thoughts and prayers.

To the Nesbitt family. I have a lot of great memories of Mr. Nesbitt. He was always a dear friend of my mom and dad, Carl and Diane watts. I pray that the Lord will help through this very hard time in your life.

I am the oldest daughter of Buck and Nolia Logan and also Evelyn Atkinson's niece. Jim has always brought smiles and entertained us over the years.Our family considered Jim a loyal friend and he will sincerely be missed. He brought many smiles to our faces over the years.

I remember watching Jim on TV when I was young. He was one of a kind. God bless you all.

To the Nesbitt Family...I am the youngest daughter of Carl & Diane Watts and fondly remember Mr. Nesbitt since I was a little girl.
He was like an extended part of our family, playing music, calling & visitng on a regular basis. He will be missed by many people. May you find comfort in knowing that he and my mother,and others who have passed before, have reunited to make music, laughter & new memories. God Bless you all.
