My sympathies to Jim, Peter, Kelly, Cindy, Sher and kids. Jim was blessed to be surrounded by those he cherished the most in his final days. I will always remember my uncle as one with a great love of life and sense of humor. He will forever be sorely missed.

James' siblings Mark, David and I are spending a few days together in California, remembering and missing him more than words can say.

I want to send love and sympathy to Jim's sons Jim, Pete and Kelley and to Sher O'Neill and Cindy Wolf who did so much for my brother, who made his life rich and interesting, worth living, and easier at the end. And I send bear hugs to the Three Beauties -- you know who you are -- and to Colin, all of whom I last saw two years ago at the Mayo Clinic, keeping their Granddad good company. It is a comfort to me, living so far away from Minnesota, that Jim had such a family: you were his joy and blessing.

Minnesota Cousins,
I always think we'll see Uncle Jim at the next event. Life has a way of speeding up. I shall remember your Dad as a great storyteller and beloved uncle.

To my cousins in the big woods, I will miss your dad, my Uncle Jim. I will miss the hugs he gave, the stories he told, the generosity with his heart, and how he worked smoked cigarette butts into tiny remnants and dispersed them onto the ground. Our lives will be different without him. Blessings to you all.

Thanks to my wife, Carole, she noticed this in the paper and brought it to my atention. To the family of Cynthia and James O'Neill it brings me fond memories of both your mom and dad, and the grandparents, Margaret and James Kelley. To James, Peter and Kelley, I want to express my sympathy to you at this time and wish each of you the best as I know you all together for this occasion. I believe I had more visits to yhour grandparents than any one else in my practice. I miss all of the warm greetings and many discussions about your entire family. Best of wishes for the future. Respectfully yours, Dr. Vincent L. Froomke from Livingston TN.
