Rest in Peace Jim O'Rourke. I knew you well, and I knew you when.
Colleen and I will miss you and never forget the good times.

One of my favorite memories of Jim was how dedicated he was to Farrell (Colleen wasn't born yet). I went to visit in Groton when Farrell was a baby. Mary Ellen was working and he thought it would be too much for Farrell to go out for the whole day so he dropped me off at the Aquarium. The funny part of this is that I didn't know until we got there that I was the only one going in!!
Jim loved his kids and was always fun to be around. Sorry that he is gone

It is with a heavy heart, that I mourn the passing of my friend James O'Rourke. I knew Jim for most of my life, and he played a part in shaping my life.We shared many great memories together, and I will likely never meet anyone quite like him again. He was certainly an original,a one of a kind.I enjoyed his imagination, and his great intellect.Jim loved to laugh at this world, and I so enjoyed, and will miss laughing with him.He was complex in nature,a rare flower in this Garden of our times. The Sun shines, just a bit differently, absent of his witness. I will always think of him, along with a sense of fondness, along the road ahead. He has left the table too soon, perhaps,I can only hope, peacefully in the end.I wish to express my sincere condolences, for all those within his life, whose hearts are sullen in the wake of his untimely demise. Be at peace my old friend, our friendship added meaning to my life...thank you for that.

Rest in peace Jim O'Rourke. You were my first brother-in-law and we certainly had many, many good times and memorable adventures together. Life goes on and you will not be forgotten.
