So sad to learn of the passing of a old time friend and partner with
the Marin Co. Sheriff's Dept. Jim was a great family man as well as
a Deputy Sheriff. all way's dependable and nearby when you needed
assistance. and that was often...he will be missed by many.
'what you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments
but what is woven into the live's of other's."
Rest in peace ole friend... you will be missed by many.

Jim and Jan Pack were so loving to my husband and me. They allowed us to rent their home as they had another home around the corner and spent the winter in Arizona. It was a tough time for us and the Packs found a solution for us. It was a joy knowing them and watching the two boys grow in their sports and high school years. My best to the loved ones left behind - May you all find peace.

Jim had a huge impact on our new life in Nevada County. He helped us build a home that would support a very healthy family and his values in doing that sustain us to this day. His family is in our thoughts and prayers.
