I have known Charla (and James) for many years, probably since elementary school. I am so saddened to hear about his passing. Words are hard to find that could ease the pain. Charla, just know that you and your family are held very close in every thought and prayer.

James was a `Good Man´. He was a `Good Marine´ too. His best decision was not joining the Marines, it was marrying Charla! James and I served in Vietnam during the same period, although in different units and places. Still I managed to get over to see him a couple of times. Remember that big ole Texas flag hanging in his bunker. Privileged to call James and Charla my dear friends. Privileged they called me one of theirs. Semper Fi, Marine.

James , Charla and I went to Estacado High School together. I consider them, both, good friends of mine. James was always so kind and thoughtful. He was always interested in any of our reunions. He was a godly husband and father and friend.
I pray a blanket of God´s peace over Charla and their family!
