PATEK, James, Jr. James A. Patek, Jr., died on Monday, October 27,2008 in Weeki Wachee, FL. Born in LaPorte, Indiana, he came to Florida five years ago from Atlanta, GA. Mr. Patek was a manager in the manufacturing business, loved to cook, was an avid reader, golfer and tennis player. He was a Christian by faith. Mr. Patek is survived by wife, Sandra of Weeki Wachee, FL.; sons James A. Patek, III of Grawn, MI. and Jeffery J. Patek of Roswell, GA.; stepsons, Steven T. Barbree of Canton, GA. and Michael T. Jim and I dated our senior year in high school and off and on in college. We had been out of touch since the '70's, but I had always felt that the world was a better place for his being in it. I'm shocked that he is gone and send my condolences to his wife and family and old friends from La Porte.
