Cummins, Charles (Red) Harold, age 83, of Knoxville, departed this life Monday, November 8, 2010. Red was a lifelong member of Immaculate Conception Church. A navy veteran of WWII, he loved all sports, coaching basketball and fishing. He was preceded in death by parents and brother, Billy Cummins; sisters, Martha and Opal Cummins. Red is survived by wife, Judy; children, Elizabeth Martin, Charles Cummins, Martha Cummins and Anne Murray (Merf) and husband, Dan Dunsmore; brothers and sister-in-laws, Jim and Ruth Cummins and Pat and Barbara Cummins; grandchildren, Matthew Cagle, Erin Terrien, Daniel Lane, Phillip Lane, Kate Cummins and Liza and Spencer Dunsmore; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Rilley Terrien; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday, November 11, 2010 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway. A service will follow at 7:00 p.m., with Father Ron Franco officiating. Family and friends will meet Friday, November 12, 2010 at Woodlawn Cemetery for a 10:00 a.m. interment. Condolences may be offered at www.berryfuneralhome.com.

Dearest Family of Harold Cummins: You are in our thoughts and prayers at such a sad time. We must rejoice in the fact that "Red" is finally enjoying his reunion with all those he has missed. He was truly a great person. We will miss him.
