I wish he didn't have to leave so soon. I love him with all my heart, I will never forget all the fun times we all had at Poppy's house. It was so fun when the whole family was there and even when grandma pat was there. We all played games together, he told a lot of stories, and it was just a great time. I will never forget you Poppy, you will always be my role model and you will always be in my heart. It is so hard to believe that you are gone, i would do anything to talk to you again and see your face again. It won't ever be the same without you Poppy. Rest easy up there, and as always, dilly dilly. Love you so much.

Jim was a pillar of the church. He will be missed greatly. Although I have moved out of Evansville, I still recall fondly seeing Jim, Pat and the rest of his family in Church. Bethel UCC lost a great man. Prayers to the family.

My sympathies to all the Perigo family. Jim was always one on my favorite people to see at Bethel. I very much enjoyed when he and Pat joined the Bible school kitchen crew. He will be greatly missed, but his generous legacy will live on through Evansville Habitat for Humanity, the United Caring Shelter and his many contributions to Bethel United Church of Christ. Pat, Joan, Debbie, Jay and Stuart my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

A wonderful, wonderful man and we are honored to have been his friends. His passion for helping others is unparalleled. I can remember hearing him say, "Well, if we can raise the money to build a Habitat home, there's no reason why we can't do TWO!" Prayers and fond memories to all of the family. He will be missed.
