It was such a beautiful service tonight. And for once, it wasnt 'sad'. I mean, I did cry, and a lot of others cried, because we DO miss him, we will ALWAYS miss him, but what a comfort it is to know that he IS with God, that he WILL live forever in Heaven and that we all WILL one day see him again. I worked with Jim for 5 years at Southern Pharmacy. He was a dear friend to me. I loved him too and will miss him. Words cannot express how deeply sorry I am for your loss. Know that we are all here for you in your time of need. You are in my thoughts, my heart, and my prayers. I hope you dont mind me sharing one of my favourite pictures; the only picture I have of Jim and me. He helped 'behind the scenes' during my baccalaureate service at South Lenoir High School in 2005. I will treasure that picture, as I will treasure the laughs and memories I have of Jim.

To Jim: Thank you for serenading me on my birthday, for the birthday cards and the cupcakes. Thank you for the 'thank you' card because I helped carry your totes to the van, and held the door for you and the other drivers. Thank you for listening to me when I needed someone to talk to. Thank you for the hugs, the kisses on my head; you always seemed to know just when I needed that. Thank you for laughing when I slipped, as I tended to do that a lot. Thank you for just being YOU. I love you and miss you more than you'll ever know.

Sorry to hear of your lose. I knew Jim when he was a Teacher @ New Hanover High School, I was a student. Later on in life we attended Law Enforcement Training @ Nights to become Speacial Deputies with the Sheriffs Dept. Jim was a fine man and had a good heart. He was fun to be around. I know he will be missed greatly. My prayers are with you in this very sad time in your lives.
