James E. "Ed" Reighard

Johnstown, PA – James E. "Ed" Reighard, 83, of Johnstown passed away Saturday December 11, 2021 at his home.Born December 24, 1937 in Ehrenfeld, PA; he was a son of the late Oliver Jr. and Hildred (Kelly) Reighard. He is also preceded in death by three sisters, Jane Jones, Dorothy Smith, Alice Reighard. Survived by his wife of 58 years, Jean C. (Strayer) Reighard, whom he married February 16, 1963; children, Lonnie J. Reighard (Doenda), Johnstown, David B. Reighard (Donnamarie Blankenship), Clearwater, FL, Barbara J. Collins (Darwin), Johnstown; three grandchildren, Amanda Reighard, Steven Reighard, and Amber Collins; 2 great grandchildren and one more expected in May; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ed worked at Bethlehem Steel for 27 years and also worked at Hilltop Nursery. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, South Fork. He served in the 876th Engineer Battalion of the US Army National Guard. A memorial service will be announced later. Arrangements in care of Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc.
