Louise and family,
We have been so saddened by the news of Jim's death. We met you both back in 1966 in Glasgow, two newly married couples away from home. Tom and Jim researched together at Strathclyde University and have been friends ever since. We will especially treasure the memories of our holiday with you both in 2009 - Jim was a gentle soul, good fun to be with and such a lovely smile. Our love and thoughts are with you all at this time, he will be sadly missed.

Hello
I am so very sorry to hear of Dr. Rogers' passing! He was a dear client of mine and if you recall, I interviewed him on my radio program, Diabetes Compass.
He really was a gentle soul, and an intelligent, caring person. I use Phloderm and think of him often.
My sincere sympathy to all of his family and friends.

Dear Louise and family
Jim was a loyal and endearing friend during our undergraduate years together at the University of Toronto. He was a colleague and roommate during our masters degree program there as well, in the mid 1960's. Although we were physically separated since then, I have valued Jim's friendship over the years. Gentle Jim, you have made a difference in this world and you will be greatly missed by all who knew you. God bless you and keep you close.
With love and our deepest sympathy, Ron and Lyn Sawchuk

To Jim's family
I just found out about Jim's passing; I am very saddened to hear of this. Jim was one of my professors in pharmacy. He was a very dedicated professor in our faculty, and he always gave everything all of his effort as a teacher and a researcher. He trained many graduate students here, and many of them went on to successful careers in pharmaceutics. I will never forget when I walked into his office in the Faculty after the final examination and he told me I had achieved the highest grade in his undergraduate pharmaceutics class; I was ecstatic. He was a really nice man and had a great smile. My sincerest condolences.
