I have known Jimmy for a long time but really got to know him while we were waiting the arrival of Little Anthony. I was praying and as I looked up he was praying to. That's when I seen the soft side of him. The love he had for his daughters was priceless. And the love he showed my son was amazing. He was a proud grandpop. Jimmy proudly introduced himself as G-Pop to his first grandson Anthony which he called him "Noodle". The bond between G-Pop & Noodle was touching. Then came Princess Mia who became his Lil MeMe. MeMe was the apple of G-Pop's eye. She put a smile on his face everytime he seen her. He was the happiest G-Pop in the world! Jimmy was a true South Philly man. We shared stories about the people we knew, the mobster stories and all the places we hung out at. We went to all the same places: Colonial Movies, Broadway Movies, George's Ice Cream, Rivera Ballroom & Cabana Steaks. I will cherish all our memories. I am gonna miss him a lot .

Jim- I'm not really sure where to start here. First of all, thank you. Thank you for giving me by far the best big sisters in the world. I'm so lucky to have them. Thank you for always making Toni & I feel welcomed at Rossano family functions. Never once did we feel out of place. We were ALL family & because of that, my sisters, all 3 of them, and I have a unbreakable bond, and I firmly believe that like my mom & dad, you were also very proud of that. Thank you for being a part of my nephew & nieces life, and also my son's life. You never made him feel any differently on holidays we've all spent together and let him call you G-pop too! You will be forever peace. I picture you shining down, watching over my sisters, anthony & mia, in your snapback hat and phillies tshirt. To my sisters, I'm sorry and my heart breaks for you with every tear you shed. I love you both, and you know I'm always here if you need me.

I am going to miss walking into my brother and Jens house and seeing Jim on the computer or sitting on the couch watching the game. I loved his interaction with my nephew. He was a perfect G pop. I also loved his relationship with my brother. I felt like they had a father and son bond and loved each other unconditionally and my brother needed that. He loved his daughters the way father should and he was always there with them creating wonderful memories. I am the black sheep of my family, I loved personally loved the man because he did what he wanted no matter what like wearing his hat at Jens & Ants wedding ceremony! it was so awsome! The hats apart of who he is and he wears it whenever wherever with no shame!! smiles!!! He was a good friend of my mom's as well and they bonded and complained to each other about growing old and sat back and watched their grandkids grow always being there to help out. Jimmy was a hands on family man and he will be missed dearly. My heart goes out to his Girls, Son in laws, grandkids and siblings. You guys sure did give him a life full of love, laughter and adventure and he will always be with his family in so many ways. You didn't get to see our big old church down here but I know you see it from up there. Rest in Peace Jim.

Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear.

Please find comfort in knowing your father is at peace and watching over you all.

My camping buddy, my worthy Oklahoma Rummy advesary, my computer virus customer, my father in law (who said no! she's too young!), my Phillies Fan, my friend. I watched proudly as you quit smoking cold turkey. I watched in awe as you took your treatments stone-faced and fearlessly. I reassured you when you told me to "take good care of her, or I'll give you one of these" as he could barely lift that fist up from his hospital bed. I'll miss you Jim, especially this summer. God Bless you and Rest in Peace.

Jennifer, Anthony, Lil' Anthony, and Mia, Chris, and Linda:

There are no words to adequately express our feelings towards you and your family at this time. We will continue to keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.

"For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens...We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord." (II Corinthians 5:1,8 NKJV).

We are here for you. Please do not hesitate to call upon us.

Love Michael, Kelly and the kids

Daddy, I miss you so much already. I will always treasure the times we spent together like our camping trips, Wildwood vacations, crabbing, going to the Phillies games and especially the World Series parade, baking doughnuts and pretzels, our egg fight, playing oklahoma rummy and finally being good enough to beat you or come close, planning Aunt Kathy's birthday party at my apartment, stepping on my veil and ripping it off my head at my wedding and so much more. I am so sad now but you left us with many happy memories that fill our hearts with love. You are the best dad and G-POP and we are all going to miss you. I have never seen anyone fight as hard as you did until the very end and I will always LOVE YOU.
