James Rowland, 45, of Mooresville, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018. He was born on May 18, 1973 in Cabarrus County, to Dave Rowland and the late Linda Compton Rowland. James loved to be on the water, driving boats or tubing with his kids. He had a big gentle heart and made everyone feel as if they were important. He could fix anything, was helpful, kind and always happy. He loved his children and was the kindest father who never missed any of their events. James was a big Georgia Bulldog fan. In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Aimee Lewis Rowland; children, Lauren, Nick, Casey, Ryan and Jack; step-mother, Amy Rowland; sisters, Courtney (Ryan), Kara, Chelsea and Casey; brother, Brad (Sam); and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation & Service: The family will receive friends on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. with a service following at 4 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel. Cavin-Cook Funeral Home & Crematory, Mooresville, is serving the Rowland family. Condolences may be made to the family at www.cavin-cook.com.

This is my uncle. I miss him a lot. I was 9-10 when he passed, and now I´m 15. I love you so much, James. I know you won´t see this, but I hope you´re happy now. Thank you for being the best uncle I ever had. LLJ
