Jim Rust was a great friend and mentor. He convinced me to go back to graduate school to finish my Master's degree in archaeology, something I never would have done without the encouragement and financial support I received while working for 4g Consulting. Jim loved life, and was always great fun in the field. I will miss him a great deal. My heart goes out to you Joanne . . . .

Jim was a great friend, and I'll miss him and his stories a lot. I always knew when Jim was in town, because my wife Janice would disappear for weeks on end. But then Jim would even let me come out to the sites he was working on and dig square holes in the ground just so I could see her now and again. :-)

Dick and Laura,

Ed Nater informed me of Jim's death. I pray that his memory will be a blessing for you and will help to reduce the pain of his loss.

I went to school with Jim from elementary school through high school. What I remember about Jim is exemplified in his obituary. He was very smart, funny and kind. It is no surprise to me that he accomplished so much in his short lifetime. I cherish my memories of Jim and hope that you find comfort in yours. Diane Colbert DuFour
