Uncle Jimmy still lives on in my heart as I can still hear his voice and see his big smile...it was always the best of times when we were all together, my beautiful Aunt Ginger, handsome Uncle Jimmy and my wonderful cousins!!! My condolences to John and family. My wife Mary Jo and I had the pleasure of meeting and spending time with Jim. What an amazing individual he was; a witty, intelligent, energetic, and obviously happy man. He was a pure delight to be around. We went to two New Year's celebrations with John, Linda and Jim and had an absolute ball. He was a man in his late eighties who was a great dancer and had a good sense of humor as well.

What an honor it must have been to be able to call Jim Dad or Grandpa. I feel fortunate to have shared a bit of time with him, he was the type of man who made a positive impact on those he met almost immediately.

Rest in peace my friend.

It was always a big day when uncle Jim came to St. Louis with his family. I always looked up to uncle Jim he was a real man and I will miss him. Love you all in Florida

Dear Family, We loved Uncle Jimmy because he was a wonderful man who was respected for the way he lived his life. Being his niece, he brought family pride for his courageous military accomplishments and in him I saw a loving husband to Aunt Ginger and a proud dad to three wonderful boys. He is, and will remain my hero.

Thank you for your dedication and service to the United States of America. My thoughts and prayers are with the loving family.

We had the pleasure of spending time with Jim and listening to stories of his younger days. So glad we got to know him. A wonderful dancer, an elegant man, most of all an American patriot and hero. A man the family can be proud of.
